Gallery View at Ignite by 4-H National Conference, Washington DC

Earth on Us was featured during the Lead to Change Gallery Viewing at the 2026 Ignite by 4-H National Conference in Washington, D.C. As part of the Community Accelerators track, participants shared community action projects, exchanged ideas, and received feedback from youth leaders, mentors, and Extension professionals. The Gallery Viewing is designed to help participants refine their projects before applying for the Lead to Change Implementation Grant.

Our Earth on Us poster introduced our vision of helping young people turn environmental awareness into everyday action through hands-on lessons, games, and youth leadership. Throughout the session, we connected with participants from across the country, discussed opportunities to expand the curriculum, and gathered valuable ideas that helped strengthen our project.

The feedback and connections made during the Gallery Viewing laid the foundation for our next step. Just a few months later, Earth on Us was awarded the National 4-H Lead to Change Implementation Grant, supporting the expansion of our environmental education programs to schools, libraries, county fairs, and 4-H communities.

We are grateful to everyone who visited our poster, shared ideas, and encouraged our journey to help young people become environmental leaders in their own communities.
